New Beginnings Recovery Homes was established in 2001 in Wilmington, North Carolina. The city of Wilmington offers a beautiful downtown area with charming character and well-preserved history. Nearby, Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches provide sun, sand, water, and other natural settings that provide for a healthy recovery environment. New Beginnings is successfully operating six homes spread throughout Wilmington. We also offer College Women a place to stay near UNCW, and for a more spiritual influence we offer many places for that Christianity Devotion towards staying clean.
Moving through our innovative program is a process
and 'Stage Freedom' helps our women
accomplish integrity, dignity, and complete self-sufficiency. Our goal
is to go above and beyond what is normally seen in women’s treatment.
New Beginnings proves to fill the gap with this special needs
population by partnering with local outreach and private and public
sectors. Our women have the opportunity to achieve their highest
potential, with the community and society benefiting as a whole. This
program not only creates a safe haven for residents with low income,
but inspires commitment, self respect, accountability, and courage. We
assist each woman with job-seeking skills, financial management,
transportation, life skills training and a 12-step recovery program.
